Welcome!

I am a PhD in Biomathematics, with a concentration in mathematical modeling in neuroscience. I am currently a baby professor of mathematics teaching at a small liberal arts women’s college on the east coast where my research is extending my PhD work to focus particularly on applications in mental health and psychiatry. I will use this blog to develop the story of my growth as a scientist as well as my personal and creative growth.  I will discuss my research progress, interesting topics I encounter, and some of the more personal aspects of my progress.
